Data changes in view by level mode

Question

Why does data change for my sheet when I switch to view by level?

Answer

When you view by level, accounts that are set to Display as Currency are converted through the currencies in the level tree as they roll up to the top level currency (e.g. “Corporate” currency).

For example: Let's say we have the structure below and we have an account with $100 USD in the Grandchild level.
  • Top level - EUR
    • Child level - CAD
      • Grandchild level - USD

The account with a value of $100 USD in the Grandchild level will roll up to the Child level using the USD to CAD exchange rate. Then, the value would  roll up to the Top level using the CAD to EUR exchange rate. When switching to view by level on a Standard sheet, each local level will convert to EUR.
