Reporting Dashboards

Introduces you to reporting dashboards.

Reporting Dashboards give you the information you need to keep your business on track. Create one for your individual use or share with your team to display critical information in easy-to-read graphics. The dashboards allow you to zero in on key performance metrics using plan and actual data.

Want step-by-step instructions? See Create Shared Dashboards.

Note: The reporting dashboards are now a legacy feature. Use Dashboards available from the main navigation menu to keep your business on track. See Using Dashboards.

How Dashboards Work

There are two categories of dashboards:

  • Shared dashboards. Administrators create these dashboards and push out to users at different levels. For example, an administrator creates a sales dashboard and makes it available to all the sales levels.
  • Personal dashboards. Users create these dashboards with the Report Access permission. For example, a sales manager creates a customized personal dashboard to display specific metrics important to them.

View Dashboards

  • User create their own personal dashboards that only contain matrix reports with the report property of a chart type. To view them, from the main navigation menu, select Reports > Reporting Dashboards > Personal
  • Administrators create shared dashboards, which contain charts from selected shared reports. Shared dashboards are shared between sets of users based on their level access. To view them, from the main navigation menu, select Reports > Reporting Dashboards and then select the name of the shared dashboard.
