Unlock An Account

Question

When I hover over an account on my sheet it says it has been locked. How do I unlock it?

Answer

If an account is locked on a sheet, here are a few things to check:

1.) Check to see if the account has been marked Read-Only on the sheet. You can check this by going to Modeling > Level Assigned Sheets > 'Edit' Sheet Name > 'Edit' Account Groups.

2.) If the account has not been marked Read-Only in the Edit Sheet Account Groups screen, check to see if the account is set to Read-Only in Customization for Sub-Levels. You can check this by clicking Edit Customization for Sub-Levels from the Sheet Summary screen.

3.) If none of the accounts at the level you are viewing are editable, the level may have been submitted for review via Workflow. Once a user submits a level for review, the sheet will no longer be editable. The user can recall the level from the Sheets Overview tab, or as an Administrator you can reject the level via the Workflow tab.
