You can grant permissions to run tasks to specific user roles or even individual users. This lets you set up tasks that perform a variety of operations that can then be executed by lower-level payroll or accounting clerks who just have limited access permissions.
To grant launch permissions for a task, follow these steps:
Click Edit Launch Permissions on the Admin menu.
The Grant Launch Permissions dialog box appears (as shown below).
Expand the list of roles or users, then double-click the role or user you want to grant permissions to. Each time you double-click a role or user, it appears in the list in the lower half of the dialog box. (You can see the permissions that are already granted by checking Show all selected.)
