Why Can't my Connector Find the Reporting Period when Importing from Intacct

Question

I'm receiving an error that states "Period Month Ended Apr 30 2013 not found in Intacct reporting periods for [Company Name]". There is data in that periods in Intacct, so I don't know why I'm receiving an error. Is something not enabled?

Answer

That message is usually generated due to one of the following two causes.

  1. There is a login issue in with the connector. This could be due to invalid credentials.
  2. There is a mismatch between the names of the reporting periods. When the customer runs the connector, a user enters the names of the reporting periods in the connector parameter screen. Those names are compared to the reporting periods in Intacct.

Check to make sure the credentials are correct and that the reporting period names entered in the Period fields match the reporting period names in Intacct.
