Question

I am able to import data to a Modeled Sheet in the Budget Version, but this Modeled Sheet is not an option when importing to the Actuals Version. How can I import Actuals to a Modeled Sheet?

Answer

You may notice, for example, that your Personnel or Capital sheets are not showing up when trying to import to the Actuals Version. Before you can import data into the Actuals Version on a Modeled Sheet, the Modeled Sheet first needs to be made available in the Actuals Version. To do this, you can take the following steps:

  1. Open the Modeling>Model Management screen and select Sheets (either Level Assigned or User Assigned, depending on where the sheet is)
  2. Click Edit next to the Modeled Sheet (Or click on the Modeled Sheet - both links will take you to the Sheet Builder)
  3. Click on the "Columns and Levels" option, and select "Sheet Properties" at the top
  4. Open the Settings tab
  5. Check the "Available in Actuals Version" box
  6. Save the sheet.

Once the sheet has been made available in the Actuals Version, you will be able to select the Modeled Sheet in the "Import into Sheet" section when the Actuals is selected as the "Import Type" on the Import Data screen.
