Perspectives, dashboards, and charts are the building blocks for self-service dashboards and a rich data analysis experience:
A perspective is a group of dashboards and charts, usually focused on a common function such as finance or sales.
A dashboard is a container for grouping a series of charts or other data analysis often by a theme or subject.
A chart visualizes your data. Review Chart Types to pick a chart that works best for the information you want to visualize.
The Perspectives Overview is the first page you come to when accessing Discovery. The Perspective Overview displays available perspectives in grid view or list view (shown in the inset). This is your starting point to view dashboards and present data, or manage perspectives, such as share and collaborate.
