What are the supported languages? Also, how can I change my date and currency format settings?
A user's locale is automatically detected, without the user having to explicitly select it. This is facilitated by a user’s internet browser being set to a preferred language, and by the user’s Windows settings. Please follow the instructions below for the specific browser that you use to run Adaptive Insights.
IE: Tools> Internet Options> Languages> Add> Add the language and move it to the top of the list.
Firefox: Firefox drop down> Options > Content > Select the "Choose" button for Languages> Select a Language to Add> Add the language and move it to the top of the list.
Chrome: Navigation icon> Settings> Advanced Settings> Language and Input Settings> Select a Language and move to top of the list.
In addition to the browser settings, the proper keyboard must be installed. This configuration is managed in the
Windows Control Panel, under the Regional and Language Options dialog (see screenshot).
- Users can enter, store and display data in their language.
- Numbers and dates in sheets and reports are displayed in the appropriate format for the user's locale.
- Time period month labels are internationalized.
- The format of numbers and dates follow the rules of each locale.
Full Local Language Support
Adaptive Insights provides full support for six languages: English, French, Portuguese (BR), Spanish, German, and Japanese.
In addition to the international features listed above, the fully-supported languages display the text of the application's user interface in the user's local language.
Limited Local Language Support
Adaptive Insights also provides limited support for Dutch.
Languages with limited support have been provided by Adaptive Insights partners. Adaptive Insights makes them available with limited support to provide greater value to our clients. While attempts have been made to validate their accuracy and completeness, these languages may be more susceptible to bugs in the way in which text is presented, and there may be areas within the application where translated text is unavailable.

Note: The language for the OS and the browser must be the same. We do not support a configuration where they are different.
